Hina

I finally have an actual reference for Hina. Thank goodness! I keep asking people to draw her when all I have is my chibi pile-up picture where she's this little dinky thing in the corner.

This is my submission for *ArtyAMG's "Sculpt for me, Arty!" Contest!



Hina is the main heroine of my Reaper story, and Hector's sister. No... she does not dance with her fans. And she doesn't control wind. I just added that for effect... Instead she has two fans that disassemble and she can then control the detached blades to slice and dice during battle. Her mentor, Quill, thought it'd be a good idea to use an inconspicuous item as her weapon so she'd always have the element of surprise on her side. She doesn't fight much since she's rarely required to and she's more on the gentle side, but seeing as her and Hector were trained similarly, and by the same mentor, she's not far behind him in skill.

Originally, I was really determined to submit this to help along the required quota, since the prize was so amazing, but it didn't look like the quota for the grand prize would be made. But now the quota's null- which is definitely good because now someone will get their character sculpted for sure! Since I already started this picture of Hina and put a lot of effort into her I figure I might as well submit anyway! I want to show my support for the contest as well. I don't think I have a very high chance, but one can dream, right?
